Member notes for Tim Page
After leaving school I had a false start with
a career in the Army before settling into the Merchant Navy. I have
worked up from being a Deck Boy to gaining a Master Mariners
qualification and have served in all ranks up to Master, which was on
one of the Global Marine cable ships stationed in Portland. I
have recently been offered and accepted a position within the British
Antarctic Survey and am now serving aboard the research vessel James
Clark Ross as Chief Officer, working in and around the Antarctic. I
have been married to my wife Gabriella for almost 18 years and we live
in the wilds of north west Devon with our three children Richard (10),
Henry (6) and Sophie (3). I hope that everyone I knew at school is doing well and is happy. |
