Member notes for Christopher iglesias

After leaving school I studied for the ONC in Electronic engineering at the Merchant Navy College in Greenhithe, Kent. By then, I was eager to work in this field, and so decided to go further and obtain a Bsc at the University of Hertfordshire (formerly the Hatfield Polytechnic).
My first job from there was as a seismic surveyor, working for 'Seismograph Service'. They sent me to Mexico to join a team searching for oil in a fairly remote region.

The work was very varied and exciting, but after six months my time had ended and I returned home to await my next assignment. But sadly that wasn't to be as I was made redundant due to a company take-over.

I'm presently working for United House, a construction and refurbishment company in Swanley.
